What are your druthers on the expansion matter as it pertains to OU, my friend?

Would absolutely love it. I live 2 miles from OU's stadium so a guaranteed road LSU game in my back yard every other season? Hell yes.

And there's the potential that LSU ends up in a different division than Bama which I support equally

It requires 8 out of 10 yes votes. Boren still is in favor of expansion but the OK Board of Regents (his boss) has been against and recently 'convinced' him to take on the party line.

Also, the OK political structure will likely continue to require the sooners and cowpokes to be in the same conference.

Other conferences play 12 plus a CG. They play 12 and that's it and can schedule weak at the end instead of others playing best against best to get into the playoffs. They shouldn't have the same weight applied for a spot as those with CG's.
So, you want to rule out any SEC team that isn't in the championship game? Let's suppose for a minute that A&M loses to UT (and Bama beats UT), but A&M pulls off a miraculous win against Bama, then gets by Ole Miss and LSU to win the West. Would you say Bama deserved no shot at the playoffs in that scenario because they only played 12 games?

I think so but maybe you could maintain it?

Texas would pitch a fit and cancel the game. If not there are other things to consider. OU would have to play an sec west schedule, and then UT. They would probably avoid other neutral game sites or any other strong ooc opponents. Still it could work. I believe you when you say the fans want to, but I am not sure the OU athletic department would. Maybe.

Which was probably why the Big XII was snubbed by the CFP committee in '14.

Yup. That is their MO for rivals that go to the SEC.

Wasn't any game to cancel, aggy.

You left the conference, you left the schedule. How hard is that to comprehend?

Here's a newsflash, Texas fans are glad you left, too.

I know many who stopped going to College Station years ago. At least y'all weren't violent like Arkansas fans.

That is a hollow argument when our president publicly said "anywhere anytime" and y'all said frick off.

I'm sure flying into Pittsburgh to go to a game in Morgantown WV is such a delight compared to having to drive those 2 hours to College Station...

Yeah but OU isn't happy with us beating them in recruiting every year so they are rocking your boat.

Apparently, we violated your safe space and triggered you.

You were so scared to play us in the NCAA tournament that you lost to UNI.
