I'm very proud of the effort they showed when they could've given up several times in the game. But UGA's offense is the real deal. Looking forward big time to next week's game against South Carolina.

Really liked the effort from the Vols. So is Dooley still on the hot seat?

The tale of this season is Mizzou/Miss State, not Georgia/Bama/South Carolina. The team came out and showed some heart. The defense obviously let us down, but they gave us a chance at the end. I'm proud that they didn't quit, but we have GOT to break through and win one of these games on the road.

Great game, though.

I still think Dooley is a damn good coach. Some things are just out of the coaches hands. Some teams just can't make up for mistakes.

He is 14-16. This game did nothing to help him. We have all seen his close losses before. He doesn't win.

Great game, I hope Bama v Ole Miss game isnt that good. Dooley has brought that team a long way.

Well, yeah.

We're not Vandy but I guess some of us are acting like we are.

Alley, I <3 you, but people weren't expecting us to compete in this game at all. A lot of folks were saying if we can go 2-2 in this stretch and keep the 2 losses close, that will be an indication that we are at least moving in the right direction.

I know we shouldn't hang our hats on moral victories, but a Dooley coached team has had a glass jaw way too frequently in his tenure. This time they didn't. That's at least SOMETHING positive.

Unbelievable game, guys.

I was very wrong about Bray as well as the rest of your offense. Dude was poised and kept Tennessee in the game all the way through.

In terms of being competitive, this was the best I've seen Tennessee play against a big opponent in a long time. Good luck the rest of the season.

Cute, emoticon Supra, cute. If you're a UT alum, get the groundswell on fire, y'all would be flamin' idiots to let Dooley Jr. go. He's got y'all on the right path.

I thought it would be a shootout but sure didn't think you guys would score that many points. Our defense is obviously overrated and your team has to feel pretty good going forward.

Good God. If others think like you, your fricking program will never gain traction.

I don't like Dooley Jr. whatsoever, but even I admit that I see some serious progress.

Maybe. Right now it's just another loss to me.

It sucks, and if we go 0-fer October again it'll be all the evidence we need. But at least they didn't quit which is more than we could say about Tennessee the last two years.

I hope they make something out of this. We had almost 200 yards rushing. The defense was terrible but did what they had to right at the end. If the team doesn't build off of this offensive performance, it's a clear indication that the coaches can't get it done. We'll see.

Absolutely. He's in a lot of trouble.
