You guys will win the series. That was the only pitching we have.

If y'all could go ahead and commit a fistful of errors tomorrow too, that would be great. We win these last two series against top 5 teams, and we just might make the post season.

I thought Wynkoop might go the distance. He was very good. Congrats on the win.

Don't give him too much credit. He just wanted to make a post with "Cocks" in the subject line .

We are excellent at this.

Wynkoop is great. It's Saturday and Sunday that have been the problem.

Yep, Taylor Widener, who was our closer to start the season and a good portion into it (he has 9 saves) came in for the 9th and the lead, and pitched like he left his game back at the hotel. He didn't get past the first 2 Aggie batters.
He started for us last weekend - he may end up starting for us tomorrow or Sunday. Scott came in for Widener and pitched like Taylor should have - retiring the side and getting 2 Ks for the final 2 outs. He could close for us the rest of the way....

Glad to!
Tell Gov. Abbott that at least he's not as bad as Gov. Perry. As far as you know.

I wonder if GarnetWay made it to the game?

Nah, I plan to make it out tomorrow though.
I still don't expect to win this series but I think for now SC is 5-0 vs A&M.

I haven't seen any posts by him so I'm assuming he did. There was a thread on the A&M board on his behalf seeking recommendations for a disguise.

Yep. And 1-0 in games played in Texas, which is a little unbelievable but true.

Not really, y'all have only been in the conference for for a couple years, and our regionals wouldn't really intersect. Also, had we played there more often historically, we probably would have a great record b/c we're a national championship level program.

Thanks Cocks!
Y'all winning coupled with Vandy losing puts us in sole custody of first place.

We can only enjoy it for the moment ... we'll lose the next two.

To be honest I'd rather end up -1 to LSU than tied and losing the championship on head-to-head. Having said that, there are still games to be played for all of the contenders. Drink plenty and often - you'll need it.

Don't feel bad .... we're 1-0 in football games played in Texas so far as well. We kicked your rival's (in Austin) arse in '57. 27-21
