The war eagles played tough in the end. Pearl is living up to Auburn's preseason hype

Yup, we knew he could keep them as a bottom 4 team. That hype was real

There's a Mark Richt joke in your post that I will "control" myself from making

Definitely a good game by Aubbie. Well-played.

Pearl will get it going down there.

He won a first round game as the 13th or 14th seed. Preseason hype had them at least going to the NIT this season. He failed on that hype. We will see if he lives up to the hype going forward, but nothing he did this season lived up to what they thought this season would be.

I expected him to lose 20 games, so he met my expectations.

BS. There were a few idiots that don't know anything about basketball claiming that as a possibility, but for the most part, those with any basketball IQ knew it would be a tough year, with the NIT a strong likelihood next season.

Regardless, he's got it moving in the right direction.

Not very subtle.

Thanks for telling us what we expected. I'm fine with how the season turned out, especially after losing Atewe early, Tahj later on, and then the spell without Mason.

That's why the close loses in particular gave me hope. Auburn had little depth this season and when hit with injuries we still managed to be competitive with a couple of exceptions.

I think once Bruce gets his guys in and builds some depth we will be Top 5 in the league
