Wait a second you think Allen is playing like an All-American from the last 4 years?

Yes.

Do you think he's playing as well as JT Barrett played last year?

Yes. Better, actually.

I'll just ask that as a barometer.

Well, Boykin was the second team All-American level I'm associating with the 80 point scale more so than JT. JT seemed like he got hype because of the Ohio State hype train building. He wasn't really the best part of that offense.

I really have only watched A&M in their first game and he was kind of in and out with the frosh but I didn't think he looked all American good in that game

Slow start with our OC running a very vanilla offense and our offensive line rally getting exposed. He made clutch plays at the end though. Finished with 3 total TDs.

Harris is making good decisions. His only issue is the long ball--he tends to under throw it. His receivers were quite lethargic Saturday and dropped a crap load of passes that most definitely should have been caught. I don't see any reason to pin that on the QB.

Harris is better than Coker

Harris has completed 53 percent of his passes for 382 yards, 2 TDs and one Int.

Coker has completed 57 percent of his passes for 976 yards, 9 TDs, and 4 Ints against tougher competition.

Harris is not as bad as people are making him out to be. TBH he is definitely in the middle of the pack. His receivers need to catch the damn ball, and offensive line needs to be more consistent. I think he will surprise a lot of people over the next couple weeks

If Alabama stops Fournette the way they stopped Chubb, do you see Brandon Harris being able to take on the added work load?

Right now, no. In 4 weeks, maybe.

But that question works both ways...I don't think Coker alone can beat LSU either

Huh? Kyle Allen ran for more yards against Mississippi State than Brandon Harris did? Harris is certainly fast, but he's not a particularly smart runner.

Kiffin won't be so one dimensional. So he won't really face that issue.

y'all don't have Fournette. Harris can run when he needs to...unlike UGAs QB

To be honest, I don't doubt Harris ability to make plays with his feet and make accuarate throws. I am much more concerned with our inconsistent and weak wide receivers. We don't know for a fact that Alabama will stop us like UGA. LSU has a much better offensive line and rushing attack. It will be strength vs strength, it will be interesting.

LSU has been pretty good about stopping the run, I would like to see more aggressive playcalling. Im concerned with our depth in the front 7, I am not worried about our secondary at all. Just our pass rush consistency. I think Alabama will have their struggles as well.

I think Bama gives us a run for our money. We will make plays on the ground no doubt but they will definitely make things difficult and force us to throw more often, we will be put into 3rd and longs as well. It will be a good game.

Did nobody actually watch that game? Chubb was on the sidelines for most of the first half and Richt called pass after pass with Lambert. The entire thing didn't make any sense. Yeah, he looked great against seven-on-seven South Carolina and Southern, but acting like he was going to pick them apart and sitting your best offensive weapon for most of the half was dumb.

Is there such a thing as an objective LSU fan? Survey says no.

Why does just about every thread started on this board has to have LSU mentioned in it? At first I thought this would be a decent topic then he as to go off and end it taking a shot at us. So frick off. Survey says just about every Bama fan is a douchebag

Laughed my arse off. Up vote from me. Can't understand why LSU fans don't find that hilarious. It would hurt if we'd lost a game, but as we haven't, you just have to marvel at the fact that Army is like the only team who has a passing game that's worse than ours.

("Not Harris's fault...blah blah blah." Who cares what non-LSU people realize or don't realize on that issue? It's off topic. No need to waste words explaining that.)

I wish LSU fans wouldn't give these threads the time of day. We all know the purpose here. Anyway, enjoy your season. The game in Tiger Stadium awaits

To give the SEC West QBs a grade. It's right there in the title.
