4 team playoff was specifically designed to prevent exactly this.

I mean, they have Vandy playing K State in the Liberty Bowl as one of their projections

UGA is this year's Tennessee, slow down. The east is still a heap of average and garbage. As is half the west (the LSU half).

The best way for the SEC to get 2 teams in the playoff is to have both Alabama and Georgia to go undefeated (maybe one loss for UGA) and have Georgia win the SECCG.

That way the committee will have to decide between Alabama and maybe a one loss USCw, for example.
