Yeah, and why business is going in the crapper in the USA because good business is built from generation to generation on service and quality. Not stripped of assets and resold for a quick profit by the person who leaves town after gutting it.

My intelligence is not in question but yours is by your inability to spell, capitalize, and punctuate properly.

I thought you were an alter but maybe you are really a Tater showing off all the traits that make Taters so much fun to rustle.

You said this:

And then this?

again, you're not catching on. i try to teach but its clear you're not getting it. in business, you invest in a stock that has seen consistent growth. therefore, you take a "snapshot" in business of historical trends and patterns. for example, cocklovers historically have been downtrodden and never amounted to anything. they are there strictly for enjoyment - to slap around, if you will. i, personally, have never considered them a rival. there has to be something there - not anomalies. you seem to be hyper-focused on the mundane. the things that do not matter. i simply find it interesting that you focus on the past rather than the "reality" standing before you. and that's 2 trophies mrs history buff. and likely, there will be more. here endeth the lesson.

Lol poor baby, all this Clemson talk is making her mad.

You seem like you have a lot of time on your hands. Go watch some 2017 football and tell me how all of the stats you provide from the 50-70's are relevant to the teams that go out on the field today.

You better start paying attention to today's football, before you know it you will start looking up those all important all-time series records and they will be closer and closer

Yeah, he wants to gloss over that part by attacking the pre 70's numbers but totally ignoring the past decade or two because South Carolina has gained much ground since joint the SEC and he is whistling past the graveyard.

USCe has closed the gap, huh? I'm pretty sure you could go back in your precious history annals and find another 13 year (weird timeline, but OK) stretch where our series was even. Unfortunately for you, the results speak for themselves; Clemson is on another playing field. I understand you disagree because it doesn't fit your SEC mantra, but this board isn't a reflection of the national opinion. Turn on any sports show and see how much praise is lavished on USCe. Zero. An 15 second afterthought if their games are even included in the gameday rundowns.

If the past is the only argument you have, I guess that's what you base your opinions on. I don't even come on here to talk shite to any other fanbase than the Gamecocks, but your arguments are at best ridiculous, and lean more towards disingenuous. It's impossible to argue that in today's college football landscape Clemson hasn't surpassed all but a very select handful of teams. Ancient history only carries a program so far. See ND, Texas, and GT for examples. Great history, lackluster today. I'll let you pick your own examples from the SEC.

You have not addresses my points baw, why not

To recap:

GA Tech is a "middle road" program, yet they have been pretty much on par with Clemson, an alleged "premier" program

What gives???

The behavior being exhibited here by the Clemson contingent makes it easier to understand why "old money" folks have such disdain for the nouveau riche.

Clemson and GT are 17-16 since they joined the ACC. Even. The argument was that GT has several championships from the good old days, but they're not the lead-in for Sport Center today. They're not a premier program today, but they've won it all more recently than Georgia has.

Are you trying to argue that a program winning 10+ games since 2011, played for the last two championships while winning one, and currently ranked #2 isn't a premier program? Seriously?

Yeah, seriously

You are having a good run, and last year was special for y'all

But no, Clemson is by no means a "premiere program"

It is clear you did not attend business classes at university or own your own business. Long term sustainable returns are the best and keep you in the black after retirement when the government and pension money is not enough to live on.

3 years is a laugh, I want a company putting money in my pockets for 30 years or more. Even better if it puts money in my kids and grandkids pockets long after I have taken the dirt nap.

:kige:

Must grind your gears you guys are 50 / 50 the past 12 years or so in football and they are owning you on the national stage in the other sports like basketball and baseball.

i, personally, have never considered them a rival.

Yet here you are on a SEC board posting about them. I think that Will Shakespeare had you guys pegged when he penned Hamlet.

The lady doth protest too much, methinks

that's 2 trophies

1 in 1981 (Were you even born then, I know I was)
1 in 2016

To put that in perspective among other current ACC schools
Boston College = 5/6 NCAA Ice Hockey (4 since 2000) + 1 CFB MNC
Duke h= 16 NCAA's since 1986 including 5 M basketball + 2 unclaimed CFB in 36 and 41
Florida State = 7 NCAA's + 3 MNC's in 1993, 1999, and 2013
Georgia Tech = 1 NCAA + 4 MNC's in 1917, 1928, 1952, and 1990
Louisville = 3 NCAA men's basketball championships in 1980. 1986, and 2013
Miami = 5 NCAA's including 4 CWS in 82, 85, 99, 01 + 5 MNC's in 83, 87, 89, 91, and 01
UNC = 43 NCAA's including 6 M basketball and 1 W basketball
NC State = 2 NCAA men's basketball championships in 1974 and 1983
ND = 17 NCAA's + 11 football MNC's from 1924 to 1988
Pitt = ?? NCAA's + 9 CFB MNC's (1915 - 1976) + 8 unclaimed (1910 - 1981)
Syracuse = 15 NCAA's (1 men's basketball in 2003) + 1 CFB MNC
UVA = 25 NCAA's including CWS in 2015
VPI = ??
Wake Forest = 8 NCAA's (includes 1 CWS)

Not only are you not SEC material but you guys are not even top in the ACC. Georgia Tech has more CFB MNC's than you guts and Miami picked up 5 MNC's in half the time it took you to pick up 2!

12 up votes for OP
5 down votes for OP (roughly the same number as Taters posters on this thread)

Clearly you did not pass 3rd grade math as 12 > 5 (even if you try and stuff the ballot box)

quote:

You havent ever done it.

Yet, here you Taters are on a SEC board taking this thread to 3 pages so far which is pretty clear proof you are rustled. Especially when your responses degrade to 3rd grade insults because you can't create facts that don't exist to support you arguments. It is really pretty funny, yet here you are still responding to a senior citizen when you could be out drinking and getting laid like I did when I was your age.

At least I did something with my youth while you are waiting yours getting rustled by me on an anonymous SEC sports board. Think about that. Meantime, think I will get some lunch and take a nap.

I think you are misinterpreting 'premier' for 'blueblood'.

I'm not arguing that Clemson is a blueblood of college football. They are a premier, or leading, program though.
