Georgia is putting the pieces in place to make a run at the SEC. We will see. It'll be between them and Florida for the next few years I imagine

It is set up perfectly for them. They are recruiting at a very high level and VOLS/UF cannot recruit for shite. If that staff even turns out to be average they'll likely be the best in the East until coaching changes take place at the other two schools.

Has Florida signed anyone ranked in the Top 10 of the state of Florida the last couple years?
I counted 4 in the last 3 years combined, barring any changes for 2017.

that only Bama & maybe OSU can match
Give em their participation trophies, because they both lost to the same team who isnt in the top 10 recruiting.

Sure they will.

Apparently it hasnt helped UGA in beating UF.

There's a lot more to winning than just talent- ask UCLA, Texas, Notre Dame, and Ole Miss. All were top 15 teams in 247's team talent rankings and none made a bowl.
While it's too early to judge Kirby, there were games where he looked in over his head.

All those scrubs aren't playing yet.

You lost to Treon Harris and Luke del Rio. Can't get much scrubbier than that.

What is it with Bama fans sucking so much UGA Dick lately with all these threads?
Shouldn't Kirby, ya know, try beating Florida or UT or even GT first before crowning him?

Sorry the pinnacle of the Butch Jones era was winning 9 games. Get back in line.

The talent gap is widening. Losing to Georgia will become a very common thing for Vol fans in the coming years.

I agree. Hopefully Kirby ends Butch's career sooner rather than later. Knoxville deserves much better than that clown.

While certainly capable of taking the east, Georgia will likely struggle vs better coached teams such as Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, and Washington. Would be good for the SEC to get another top 20 team

Agreed. Hopefully Kirby gets that elusive SIGWIN in Knoxville next annum, paving the way for Lord Gruden to claim his rightful throne.

Butch Jones is undefeated versus Kirby.
And I like his chances in Knoxville this year as well.

Beating Tennessee won't qualify as a signature win, and Gruden isn't leaving the booth. He turned down a chance to coach Andrew Luck.

I think UGA has recruited much better than Georgia Tech since the beginning of football. But that hasn't kept Paul Johnson and his 1956 style offense from beating UGA quite often.
