Why is Georgia fans salty about State hiring their old DC? Georgia might not score a point.

First, learn to speak English. Second, UGA fans were in the same spot last year when Arkansas warned us about Fat Chaney. We were defensive, but they were right. I expect a similar reaction to Grantham after next year from Miss St fans. Be prepared

No reason for them to be salty. Kirby Smart is a great Defensive Coordinator.

Didn't Georgia fire Richt only to hire DC and a 1st time HC only to go 7-5? Richt was guaranteed 9 wins.

Georgia fired Richt because he was bad at roster management. He recruited Cam Newton as a TE and thought our current punter was a better QB than Deshaun Watson. I could go on. You've been warned about Grantham, but best of luck.

And that DC we hired, yeah, he is recruiting one of the top 10 classes in the last decade. I'd say we did okay

I can't wait for State to beat the breaks off out of Georgia again. What was it? 24-12 last time?

24-10 UGA? 2011? But hey, your winning percentage is .261 against the Dawgs so you have that going for you

I think Grantham is a very good DC. A good recruiter too.

His downfall at UGA was the 2013 season when he lost 8/11 of his previous starters. Particularly weak in the secondary and got lit up real bad all year.

Our offense had a bad year too in 2013, but history has decided that 2013 was Grantham's fault. A year prior, he was being touted as a defensive genius.

Hell, UGA named him co-head coach.

Our defense has been horrible for awhile now. People will argue with me but A lot of the problem is that State couldn't keep a DC in place. I don't blame it all on Sirmon. If State could have a defense that was just in the middle of the conference, State could have won 9 games.

You have to understand the thought process for a typical UGA fan. They pretty much hate and belittle any coach or player who leaves the program for any reason

And that being said, no player or coach who leaves the pearly gates of Athens will ever amount to anything anywhere else. Especially if they did not work out at Georgia

So that means, Grantham, who was loved when he come to Athens, will never be worth a shite anywhere and you suck for hiring him

You are welcome for the explanation

As an Auburn man, I bet your dream was to walk through those pearly gates of Athens. Your application was denied, so you made it your mission to hate on all things UGA. We're doing our best to warn Moo St of Grantham, but in 8 months they'll get it. Georgia fans don't have any beef with the Starkville natives.
