Georgia fans - What's going to be the best way to get tickets for our game?

I've got a best friend who is a huge UGA fan and is moving to Spokane, Washington to go to school. I would love to buy us tickets to that game and surprise him with them at some point and fly him in for the game that weekend.

Best bet is knowing someone or showing up with probably 200$ to spend on scalped tickets. Maybe more, maybe less depending on how long you're willing to wait

Either suck it up and stubhub or give him pictures of tickets and scalp them at the game

Buy em at the game or pay top dollar for em online. I'd suggest buying them at the game.

Amen. Just be smart about not buying a fake and you'll be able to get in for at least $150 less (per ticket) than those stubhub prices.
Fair warning, those 600 level seats absolutely suck. 300 level is fine.

Stubhub if you want the security of knowing you have them and they're real. Scalp if you want cheaper tix with a risk of fakes (prices will vary based on proximity to the stadium, person you're buying from, and Tim before or into the game)

Pro tip: Get Tim VERY drunk then buy his tickets. Use some circular logic to convince him of how good it is for him to sell them (at a good price for you, of course).

I tried to buy tickets outside Samford before the blackout game. It was the first time I've ever failed to find a cheap single ticket to a game. After kickoff, people still wanted $150 for nose bleeds seats behind the endzone.
Of course, Georgia was to 3 and Bama top ten for the first time with Saban, so it was hyped like I've never seen.

How common are fake tickets? In Tuscaloosa, scalpers have to have a license to sell tickets for higher than face value - so that cuts down on a lot of the fakes.
It's kind of a weird situation, where normally I'd be willing to pay a little more for decent tickets. But since I'm buying his plane ticket, I don't really want to spend $700 for a pair of upper deck, corner of the endzone seats.
I went to the 2008 game and sat a few rows from the top in the upper deck, and it was an awesome experience. But I got the tickets for free.
