Georgia began to surpass Alabama late last year

Compare results against common opponents.
Alabama beat Arkansas by 1 point. Georgia beat Arkansas so bad in the 1st half that the players lost concentration in the 2nd half. It was a laugher.
Alabama was lucky to beat Auburn in a ridiculous shootout. Georgia totally crushed Auburn.
Maybe the reason an SEC team didn't win the NC last year is because the best SEC team wasn't represented. Georgia would have beaten Ohio State last year, if they would have been in the playoffs instead of Alabama.
Georgia is going to beat Alabama simply because Georgia is the better team.
Georgia is much stronger than Ole Miss. If Alabama couldn't beat Ole Miss at home, they are not going to beat Georgia in Sanford Stadium.
Go ahead Bama. Just try to stack the box.

Alabama beating Arkansas but 1 has ABSOLUTELY no correlation to our game against Arkansas nor does the Auburn game...means little if anything.

This is the epitome of the uga mind set that we have all come to know and love. They are always the best team in the SEC but something unlucky always happens to them and it doesn't work out in their favor. They point to dominant games, but the games they lose were of course a fluke of some sort. Pure gold right there. Thanks for making my morning!

both sides are nervous and feel like they are gonna lose
both fanbases feel like their team CAN win; but neither is willing to really step up and get aggressive with the smack
If we lose, and we might, we will be crucified on this forum - "Richt can't win the big one" - "UGA overrated" etc...

Maybe. I admit I am more tuned in to uga than other teams because I live here now. Love the state and the folks. Just talking about the mentality. Sports radio, fans etc just always have this mindset they are better than all others in the SEC they just never get the lucky breaks. When they lose its a fluke, or Richt just Richtd it up. It's never maybe they just weren't good enough.
