Sounds like they have already sold 20,000 tickets. It's the last dry run for the stadium before the home opener in 10 days.

Anybody heading over? I'll be there for the home opener. Can't wait.

That "Below the Chop" looks cool. You are practically on the warning track.

That's not even in Atlanta anymore.
Doesn't look much different than Turner but I do want to take in a game at the new ballpark once the prices come down. Wonder what tickets are going for?
May put that on my list for next summer.

No kidding. There will be a few fans getting to see an outfielder smack the wall close up.

I'm not sure that one is a good idea.

A player going through the glass might be exciting.

Frick the Braves but that parks looks sweet. Cool for both teams to get a chance to play there

Those two small parking decks are all the parking there is at the stadium?

It may not be in Atlanta city limits but I think the idea that it's not really Atlanta anymore is overblown. It's basically in the middle of the Atlanta metro population center and like 10 miles from downtown and maybe 2 miles outside the official city limits.

Has similarities in look but it's vastly superior in pretty much every way possible.

There are cheap seats even now. And with an 81 game home season for what will probably be at best a .500 team, affordable tickets will be abundant this summer.

Just think, 20 years from now when people ask the question "Who was the first team that played a game that counted in SunTrust Park?" the answer will be "the Missouri Tigers".

19 designated parking lots and decks. However they are pretty spread out. The plan is a shuttle to the lots that are a longer walk. Allegedly more designated parking spaces for a smaller stadium than the setup at Turner Field. Traffic and parking is mostly likely going to suck. They put that stadium in a densely populated and HEAVILY traveled part of the city. I'm sure they will be pushing get there early and stay late and enjoy the Battery.

It's a crow hop toss from the City of Atlanta/Fulton County line and the Hooch.

We are in a building across 285 and have season tickets. Went over a few weeks ago for the open house. It's a pretty great facility. The Battery is also going to be great. If they just had MARTA it'd be perfect.

Beautiful stadium. 95% if the tickets are FANS who just want to check out the park. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
