I agree it was a phantom call on Green, but it's not like it just gave us enough to run down and kick a field goal. We crammed it down your throats after damn near running the kickoff back for a touchdown. We scored a touchdown in short order. You should have stopped us. And y'all had way more than any ten seconds left. We just played better defense after y'all got the ball back.
ETA: it took us 23 seconds to score a touchdown. Play better defense and special teams.

LSU vs Virginia Tech 2007
It was their second game and first away game after the shooting and they were ranked top 10. LSU rolled in a noncompetitive game. There were several Tech students and fans that tailgated around us and they were still obviously shaken about the shooting. We showed them a great time and they were very gracious and good folks.

ETA: Just looked. Green's happened with 1:09 left. Scott's happened at :46 left. That's a big difference in an end of game situation.

you are ignoring the very obvious fact that your playcalling is likely different if you're starting from the 25 as opposed to the 40.
But this is no different than the endless chubb/lf debates. Neither side gives an inch and before you know it it's 3pm and you've been saying the same things all day.
It was a close game that LSU won and there was an infamously bad call late in the game. None of those are opinion, they are fact that aren't debatable. That's all I'll say on it.

Our defense and special teams definitely cost us, similar to Tech in 14.
But I think even you can admit our celebration penalty was more costly because we needed to score a touchdown and couldn't run the same type of offense y'all were able to.
If you can't admit that, there's no point in trying to have a serious football conversation with you.
