Schmidt was 4-2 with a 1.34 ERA. Top 15 projected pick.
The timing really sucks but he will bounce back.
Also, this will definitely be the built in excuse to keep Holbrook. I doubt we make the tournament now, because one of our midweek guys with a 13 plus ERA will be forced to start on Sunday's going forward.

Ben Jordan 6-9 rhp 1st round prospect is going to need Tommy John surgery too. Sucks for him, but means there's a chance now that he enrolls at Kentucky

FWIW John Whittle over at 247, who follows baseball more closely than most college sports writers follow football, believes Clark will still likely be a 1st Rounder to early 2nd rounder. He will not likely get a full signing bonus that most players drafted that high will get however.

Damn. Hope it doesn't hurt his draft stock too much. Prayers for a speedy recovery. He's a really good pitcher.
