Florida gets millions in insurance and doesn't get the sure loss that would have been handed to them.

There's no way they want to play Sunday or Monday. They'd lose all of that guaranteed insurance money and would also get their behinds handed to them.

Florida gets PAID for not playing.

Expect this to happen regularly in the future. If the weather looks like it might be bad, teams will cancel games, take the money, and not have to suffer a loss.

Follow the money.

I love how you L5U fans are so confident in your team after beating a mediocre Missouri team.

Except that Sankey has the authority to mandate the rescheduling of the game. But that doesn't fit your narrative, does it?

I'm unaware that these games are covered by insurance. This is just a joke, right?

If I were calling the shots at the insurance company, I wouldn't pay out.

Not just beating, setting a school record beating.

Throw in UF's 13-6 performance at Vandy, and the LSU -3 line, and yes, LSU were confident in the win.

Pretty much everyone was.

I mean we love our team and kind of wanted to see them play against an above average team this weekend.

I mean wouldn't you be pissed if you were in this situation?

LSU was coming off delivering an arse whooping to a comparable team. Of course they were going to win. All coach O does is win as interim head coach.

What narrative? The narrative is: Florida has injuries and didn't want to play this weekend. Florida refused to work with LSU to find a way to both avoid weather related issues and play the game - because Florida didn't want to play the game. SEC, unlike many times in the past, sat on the sidelines and didn't force a resolution. All other schools potentially in harm's way were able to resolve between themselves with only one having to reschedule for a later weekend and those schools mutually chose that option as both already had common open date. LSU offered many alternatives that would not adversely impact Florida financially to play this weekend but Florida refused them all. Any of those options would have required Florida to play this week when it preferred to not play this weekend.

So what in your small mind doesn't jive with that non-fiction narrative?

Sounds like UForfeit aided by that POS Stankey got away with a nice con. Don't think our legal team won't use that insurance payout as evidence of the forfeit. Cowards will get the L, one way or another.

Stankey is corrupt. Not surprising since he's a Yankee living amongst BAMA trash.

Yeah LSU had just rushed for over 400 yds without Leonard Fournette in the line up.

UF is down 3 starters on the DL and also has a starting LB that's banged up.

They were going to get their shite pushed in.
