Looked like the same thing that happened to Bama last year.

Good job pulling it out though.

Tennessee played a good game. Not every win is going to be a blowout. You really have to admire Georgia's resolve.

Meh, they were looking pretty good before the injuries. I think that all the injuries took the wind out of their sails for a bit.

I don't see how anything could be to blame other than the injuries.

We sustained more in one game than most teams do in a full season.

I'd attribute most of it to this. They were down to some white kid at RB and their 3rd string WRs. Before all of the injuries started to pile up they had that game under control.

This, a young defense that is still struggling, an appalling STs, and our play calling trying too hard to establish a run game with 2 18 yr olds and run the clock out was the reason. LSU may have contributed to how beat up they were and Georgia wasn't super clean to come out but they were close to putting it away.

Then shite got real.

Glad to see Richt & Murray win a biggie.

Any team as huge chalk, especially on road, after an LSU or Bama game, let alone victorious..should generally be fade material.

Toss in Tenn desperate for relevance again, and you can see why they kept scratching to the very end vs rivals Fla and UGA.

Possibly. After grinding out a tough game last week I think UGA expected Tennessee would bend over and not put up a fight. Combine that with the UGA players dropping like flies and it made for a close one. Georgia is damn sure the most battle tested team in the country.

Coaches might want to start scheduling a bye AFTER the LSU game so you don't get dropped by some soft team while you recover.

Faxis your an azzhole. The LSU game is not what made the Tennessee game close it was due to the injuries.
