It's about time 
one of best, most hard working guys around. Couldn't happen to a better guy, he deserves it

Just as impressive to me as being a walk-on, he was in the ROTC program during his time at AU and after his first NFL season he completed Officer School for the National Guard at Fort Knox

He earned a degree in Criminal Justice at Auburn. He completed ROTC while at Auburn and was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Alabama Army National Guard. After playing his first year in the NFL, during the off season, he graduated from the RC-1-86 Armor Officer Basic Course, Fort Knox, Kentucky.
