If you're being honest with yourself you'll admit this, otherwise you're either an extremely delusional homer, a hopeless romantic, or just plain retarded.

But back on point.

Which team from the following list will win the national championship this season:

Clemson
Alabama
Ohio State
Oklahoma
Oregon

As much as I like Alabama and believe they have as much a REALISTIC shot to win a natty as any other team on that list...I believe this is Clemson's year.

I think Dabo will make Clemson fans very happy in January.

Until proven otherwise that's not really that outlandish.

Exactly.

So, who from my list do you think will realistically win the national championship this year?

Agreed. While I could see any of UGA, LSU, or UT theoretically being in the mix, I don't think any of those is particularly likely.

Just goign by the list you provided, I think the only teams there I would feel comfortable right now saying would WIN the title (not just get there) would be bama or ohio state.

I'm high on clemson and think they're legit, but I just can't reasonably pick against saban at the moment.

Don't know. I think the case for Clemson is easy enough, I can't envision them getting back to the championship game. Best guess - Oklahoma.

Clemson returns their all-world QB while Alabama is, yet again, trying to figure out who is going to start for their team.

If last year's NCG were replayed at the end of the year this year, I think you gotta give the odds to Clemson to win this go round.

And I know that Alabama always seems to find a way, but returning a player of Watson's caliber is no small thing. Clemson is legit and they are in a position to take home the hardware this year.

ETA: In fact, I would say the only thing standing between Clemson and a Natty this year is POSSIBLY Florida State. But with Florida State having issues at QB as well, I still gotta give the nod to Clemson. And I really don't like Clemson. Just calling it how I see it.

I think Clemson overlooks a game or two and ends up dropping them.

there are like 3 other times you can say this and they still won the title

100% irrelevant

alabama has faced colt mccoy, tim tebow, johnny manziel, and a host of other elite QBs and still won a title
