If his lawyer didn't want him to say shite then he shouldn't be doing press interviews.

The truth is the leaders of the Ole Miss cult can't allow its sheep to start doubting the fake bullshite they've been fed.

"Hugh Freeze is a good Christian that was just a victim" will keep them rabidly defending and supporting their favorite sports team and will keep money, fame, and power flowing to those currently pulling the strings.

"Hugh Freeze was unfaithful to his wife and put his own simple desires over his family - including his own children. Oh, and he also possibly acted inappropriately towards underage and vulnerable high school girls." would probably cause at least a small portion of the congregation to start demanding change in leadership.

It's like they are willing to everything else the Bible says, but not that.

Because the vast majority of religious people only care about the rules they don't have trouble following. That's why homosexuality receives so much attention from them. It's an easy rule to harp on because it's an easy one for them to follow.

Wonder why they never talk about coveting your neighbor's wife?

It's not the "vast majority" of christians. The vast majority live by the rules. And they are quiet about it. You're talking about 10%. Which is alot though. In a church of 500 that's 50 scumbags in the room. But they are the loudest usually because they are always trying to convince people of what they are. Or want you to think they are. The vast majority keep their religion to themselves for the most part.

Some folks have said Freeze is all about perception and he's fanatical about his image. How self centered and narrcisistic can one man be? He hasn't even owned up to his mistakes, apaologized to the Ole Miss family or the Ole Miss Administration that vehemently supported him at every turn of this 5'yr investigation. They gave the man a contract extension in the wake of receiving 2 NOAs and he can't put out a public statement of regret or apology?

Or why divorce is no big deal to most of them (even though it is adamantly preached against in the Bible).

Doesn't look like he's been carrying out any vengeance on anyone lately. Surely he should have something to say about Muslim terrorist.

Unless THEY are the ones worshipping the right god.

(Christians are not perfect, but they are forgiven! If his wife and family want to forgive him, then that is good enough for me.)

If this caught his wife by surprise, it's impossible for her to have dealt with this mentally, emotionally and spiritually in this short period of time. Forgiveness of this magnitude takes time. It takes weeks at minimum just to deal with the grieve that comes from a betrayal of this magnitude. After the grieving is complete, it takes time to make up your mind on what to do with the relationship. Then it takes time to allow trust to be earned.

I 100% believe she new and didn't care. They must have some type of arrangement. There have been accusations for years and she ignored them? No way, if she did then she is an emotionally abused woman. I am guessing they must be a part of some type of swinging lifestyle.

Even worse than "for a good story". He did it basically because Satan dared him to.

It is but it was a joke and you can't censor comedy.

To take anything said in the name of comedy seriously goes completely against the fundamental idea of comedy itself.

Nobody gives a shite hugh freeze. Why do you feel the need to say you're going to meet you're pastor? Why does everything need to be in the public eye with you regarding your faith? Just shut the frick up about all of that. Everyone is tired of hearing it. Alot of us have a relationship with the Lord as well and do it in our own time in privacy and don't feel the need to broadcast it to the world. It always did seems like hes worried too much about what people perceived him to be, and his public image...now we know wby, and it's getting old. His relationship with God is between him and God, it just seems like he tries too hard when it is really Nobody's business but his and the Lords. He needs to keep some things to himself.
