So, if I know about improper benefits and have no direct ties to the OM program, how in the world I am to believe that the head coach has no clue, some how, of improper benefits? Hell, his own player (Tunsil) and his lawyer have admitted he was paid and the NCAA knew about it.

Moreover, do you really think (putting your fandom aside for a moment) that the two individual coaches named in the Tunsil texts that report directly to Hugh Freeze have completely shielded him from their actions?

Listen, I understand why you respond as you do. You are a fan and a human and you want to believe the good and discredit the bad. It is human nature.

Fortunately enough, I understand through experience, that just because I want to believe something, or choose, not to be something, has no bearing on what reality is in a given circumstance. There is fact and there is fiction.

I also know inconvenient truths about LSU athletics and I feel certain if I shared them, LSU fans would deny them, attempt to discredit me, etc.

I made these comments in this thread related to OM because they are true and because this is an OM thread. More specifically, I detest individuals that use their supposed religion as a defensive shield to their bad actions. Even more specifically, I firmly believe (though I cannot prove what Freeze knows or does not know) that Hugh Freeze is the biggest religious phony on a national stage since Jimmy Swaggart.

I believe him to be a massive hypocrite. Sadly, I think he really is a Christian. I believe he is rationalizing his actions and rhetoric at the moment though.

Finally, I believe it is all beginning to unravel. Just on the simple basis that Tunsil, through his attorney, has admitted the texts are true, they believe they became public from a financial adviser and the NCAA already knows this stuff...but somehow Hugh Freeze didn't...that by itself either speaks of gross mismanagement, if not lack of institutional control.

Dan Jones didn't believe he was going to get canned and OM fans believed Tuberville when he said he would leave Oxford in a pine box. We see how that all worked out too.
