He should've stayed at Bama and gravy trained a little longer. Has there ever been a bigger nose-dive for a coaching career than Franchione's?
After leaving Bama, he sucked major cawk at Texas A&M and it didn't get any better when he went down in class.

Never understood why Bama fans were so pissed when he left. It was a blessing in disguise. He did a decent job with the players Dubose cheated to get, but you could tell by his recruiting classes the wheels were going to come off.

Use of the phrase "Hold the rope" and lose to AU when Bama had a debateably (which is not a word) better team is what I've been told.

Franchione should be a case study as to why you never want to hire a coach who:
- Hasn't seen a recruit of his own graduate
- Has short term success that happens the same time a Heisman candidate is on the roster
- Relies Heavily on gimmicks and slogans
