I would have left off all the per game totals as well if I was a tennessee fan considering texas played one less game than tennessee

As a life long Tennessee fan I'm embarrassed that this thought even floated through someone's mind

I mean, it matters. If Dobbs had 300+ yards and 4TD in that extra non-conference game, the stats wouldn't look quite as comparable.

Dobbs doesn't pull that shite in Nonconference games, he does it vs UGA

But say he did. Heres what it looks like:

Vince (2004) vs Dobbs (2015)
2899 vs 2662 Total Yards
26 vs 22 Total TDs

Would still be a decent comparison between an VY and Dobbs at this point in their respective careers

I think it would be more of a decent comparison if there styles were more similar.

Dobbs is a better passer than Young at that point in his career, but young had a much more dynamic running game (well excluding the UGA game )

I think there's also more room to improve your passing game, than athletic ability, so Young had a higher upside at that point in his career.

Don't disagree with any of that.

Would also say that Dobbs has quite a ways to go in improving his passing game as well. But he better have already done it because times running out.

Have a good weekend

I would probably take current VY over eyebrow tats.

This tweet is actually a good thing for Texas fans. 2005 is fading in people's memories. To current recruits, it may as well have never happened. As we continue to get embarrassed, we can't keep falling back on the past. After we start 1-4, it's time to fire Charlie.
