I'm hoping I'm wrong and that we can ride LF7, our offensive line, and our defense to the very end but what separates ole miss and dawns from LSU right now is quarterback play. If Harris gets significantly bette by the time we play Bama then watch out. But for now, I have to admit that Ole miss and Georgia are the more complete teams.

Definitely disagree that Ole Miss is a more complete team.

Too me, it's still too early to tell. I do feel a lot better about our qb situation today though.

I think it's early.

But Ole Miss, Georgia, and LSU are the best teams in the SEC right now with Bama coming in at number 4.

It's not like he's been bad. He's been pretty mistake free. A couple bad throws and thats it. But at least out of reach of the defenders.

ETA: he's been an incredible run threat as well. Which is good decision making on his part. If the pass isn't there and he can pick up some yardage with his feet, that's fine by me.

2 freak pass plays for 140 yards and 5 turnovers does not make Ole Miss a complete team.

LSU is only lacking in QB play. And they are not lacking that much. Harris might not have the arm that Mett. had, but he does run the option better than any of our last 3 QB's. He has wheels and looks to know when to use them. Threw to a TE for TD, Imma just leave that there to sink in. Harris, imo needs to learn "touch" when throwing and calm down a little bit.

Actually, Harris has a cannon. He needs to work on seeing the field better.

I am ok putting LSU third right now. Ole Miss has a great defense and maybe can throw the ball better. And of course are PROLIFIC scorers right now. I do think LSU has some matchup advantages against them though that could work in LSU's favor.

After three weeks I'd go:
Ole Miss
Georgia
LSU

Georgia maybe. Ole Miss running game is no better than LSU passing game.

Top to bottom, Bama and UGA are the most complete teams.

I know Bama lost, but that was a game where everything went wrong for them and they still almost won.

LSU will not be able to ride Fournette off tackle for the rest of the season. Auburn's front 7 is a joke, especially with some injuries and players going half speed yesterday. LSU has got to open up a passing attack to have a chance. They have some receivers that look good on paper and in pads they just need to open up the playbook and let the QB learn to win a game throwing the ball.

OM has a ton of talent and swagger, but I also think they have the best chance to choke.

I agree with this, I'll add that if A&M can get it's oline sorted out we're going to spoil someone's year.

The second one was not a freak pass play. Stop making excuses.

Who do you think forced those 5 turnovers?

Keep riding that party line to your 3 losses, BamaBitch.

As to Ole Miss being "complete":
I think our offensive line, which I still rank as our weakest unit, is a lot better than we thought they'd be. They only gave up sacks to bad pressure in one really bad series. That was with our 1st and 2nd string centers taking a breather.

We were able to run the ball enough to keep the defense honest, but we will never be a run-first team. That's just not our identity. That will cause a lot of knocks against us in the eyes of the media and other fans, but I really think we're strong enough to get done what we need to get done in conference play. I think we just faced the strongest front 7 we'll face all year and we made it out alive.

That's not a knock to LSU, TAMU or UF. They have great front 7s but I think we'll be better prepared for them now having seen Bama. Plus, we're still anticipating Tunsil's return after 4 games (I hope) so the OL going up against those front 7s will be a much more complete and strong unit than the one that we trotted out last night.

No team is without a few lingering questions, but the picture is becoming much clearer.

OM did nothing against our defense. One lucky bounce off the defenders helmet and one broken pass play. LSU will gang rape OM. Georgia has not played anyone of note yet. That said they have talent every where. LSU looks the most complete to me.

For me right NOW Georgia looks very good. Their QB looked very good last night and they can run, D looked fast and very good also.
Ole Miss took advantage of mistakes like good teams do, and Kelly looked fearless. They also have a very stout D.
With that said lots of games to be played and some teams will get better and some will fall off....going to be a fun year watching SEC football.

Not a perfect hop onside kick? That's lucky as hell also.
