Los Angeles Chargers offensive tackle King Dunlap was arrested by on suspicion of violating a protective order by Nashville police Thursday, according to records obtained by NFL.com.
Dunlap was arrested and issued a $1,000 bond amount, according to records from the Davidson County (Tennessee) Criminal Court Clerk's office. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 7.
The Chargers released a statement on Dunlap's arrest Friday: "We are aware of the situation involving King Dunlap. We will continue to gather information and monitor the situation as the legal process runs its course."
According to a criminal affidavit obtained from the Nashville Police Dept., officers responded to a domestic disturbance call allegedly involving King and a woman identified as his girlfriend. Upon arrival, officers determined King's girlfriend had a protective order in place against him. The affidavit states King told domestic violence detectives after his arrest that he was aware of the protective order.
Dunlap, 31, started in each of the 12 games he appeared in last season for the Chargers after signing a four-year, $28 million deal with the team in the off-season. The eight-year veteran out of Auburn has started in 65 of the 98 career games he has played in for the Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles.

Amazing that Dunlap got benched his senior year at Auburn for a true freshman, yet had played in the NFL for 8 years.
King has always been a dumbass. He was arrested while in Auburn for unpaid tickets.

I need to see a photo of the girl. I need to understand what would drive a man to break a restraining order when you are a millionaire from So Cal, with so much talent to pick from
What a fool

King Dunlap played at AU like 10 years ago. But do we still get Fulmer cup points? Bama currently leading off of player drug arrest.

Except Alabama players beating on women is a Bama thing.
Our players usually like pot and robbery.
King must have been a Bama fan growing up.
