The Cowboys knew he was going to be suspended for a few games when they resigned him a couple of months ago.

The OP's link says he has failed another one, triggering the 4 game suspension as opposed to the 4 game "fine" when he signed with the Cowboys. The OP's link also coincides with this link from February saying if he failed another one, he would be suspended 4 games.
