damn shame, RIP. His wife also passed away from a gunshot wound by the 16 year old. This world is a shitty place to live these days.

Wow. I met him at a July 4th event earlier this month. And saw the son there too. Awful news. He was big into coaching at local youth football league. This is crazy.

Antonio was among the best of the best.
A Butkus award finalist and a member of the undefeated 1994 team--one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.
This is gut-wrenching.

Wow, just read the Heavy.com article. Just absolutely heartbreaking, senseless. I am so sad for the two other children. Really hope the ATM Family rallies to their support..I know y'all will!

This is a tragedy. The small print in his life was that he was an All American and played professional football.

What we need to remember is Antonio came from the Kashmere Gardens area of Houston. You don't get started much lower. He never knew his father but in his senior year at A&M he changed his last name to his father's last name. He felt he owed it to him for giving him life. He never gave up and was a success as a human being. He grew into a wonderful man and loved everyone. He would help anyone. He touched many lives for the good. Something terrible went wrong at home and we are all saddened. He would want us to not look after his children, even the one who is currently being held in the investigation of his death.

How could somebody shoot their own father? I understand people have issues and all but killing your old man is just terrible. RIP

Just awful. I hope the rotten trash that did that gets locked away for a very long time. So senseless. I don't know what is wrong with some people these days.
