I don't think anyone including A&M could have played OU as close as LSU did today
Simmons showed why he is considered great, but ou just held on.

Held on? They were down by about 13 with 10:00 left in the second half.
And Simmons disappeared the last 3:00 of the game other than 2 fouls. I blame the coach for that however.

I wouldn't feel as bad if LSU would have taken care of business in the early non conference games. They needed a big jump from beating Oklahoma. Hopefully Simmons doesn't get upset from the lack of plays in his direction.

LSU has a ton of talent. Coaching, and post defense has been their downfall this season. They still have the talent to make a deep run in the tourney though if they get in. If I'm an LSU fan, I'd love to be an 11 or 12 seed. I think they can make the Sweet 16 from there.

I congratulated the Aggies on Texags, where I rarely post and always complementary, and all I got today was losers and corn dog comments when we lost. You restored my faith in my Aggie friends and relatives...
