we all know the looney tune harbaugh runs his mouth about bama, well actually about lots of schools. Guy seems to have a screw loose. Here was a tweet one of UM's players made last night that's since been deleted. Probably not funny if you aren't familiar with the original photo:

why are they so insecure?

eta: the original photo

and if you can't see, the dude edited it to be harbaugh's face on iverson and saban on lue.

Michigan has a rich history and tradition. Most wins in college football history. Blue blood program. Harbaugh is trying to get the Michigan name and brand relevant again. You do that by picking a fight with the baddest on the block. Right now that's Alabama and the SEC.

Iverson drilled a shot late in game one or two of the finals against the lakers after faking out a defender who fell down and then Iverson stepped over him as he went back down the court.

The lakers went on to win the series and the trophy - so not really sure it was the best image to use to get whatever the message is across

They are jealous we have a better football program then them. They have as many national champions since the 40s as BYU.

So he posted a picture from a game from a series where the guy that Saban is supposed to be won a championship and the guy that Harbaugh is supposed to be did not? Sounds about right.

Ohio State is just as guilty. They constantly talk about the SEC and Bama to their base

I suppose it is flattering that they've picked Bama to start some little rivalry feud with.

It's like prison. Harbaugh has scoped out the toughest guy and is going after him.

Because Michigan has won a share of 1 national championship the past 70 years? While Alabama is winning them right and left like Pez?

Michigan sees themselves as a blue blood of college football, and they kinda are, but the vast majority of their accomplishments come in the leather helmet era.

Just to repeat, they've won a share of 1 national championship in the last ~70 years. Every single other blue blood program has won way, way more.

They've also been in the toilet for close to a decade since Lloyd Carr left.

They haven't wont the Big 10 outright in almost 15 years, despite the fact the Big 10 is usually a 2 or 3 team conference.

Michigan is closer to Tennessee at this point than they are Alabama.

Remember Oregon's 'We Want Bama' theme?

This is just the Michigan version, with a dash of Harbaugh crazy of course

It also helps that in all likelihood they're not gonna have to deal with Bama. There's a reason they're focused on Saban and Bama and not, say Meyer and Ohio State. That's just a little too immediate and likely to blow up in their faces. Bama's a safe distance

slightly incorrect there. And when you refer to some of Bama's NCs, do you call them just a "share"?
