That's the problem with firing a good coach like Les. You have to have something appreciably better in the works. LSU is hoping to lure a proven elite coach away from someone else, but elite coaches are few and far between. Jimbo, Saban, Meyer, Harbaugh, etc seem pretty content where they are. Their only hope now is for Philly to fire Kelly.

LSU's hubris won't allow them to hire a "potentially" elite coach. They want someone who's proven. Problem is, how many of those are out there and available right now?

I can't argue that. So, name the elite coaches in the game right now. Then list the availability of said coaches. I would argue that the only proven elite HCs in the game right now are Saban, Harbaugh, Urban, and Jimbo (and I don't think he's as good as the first 3).

Most names don't seem better than Les. We face Fisher already not worried won't change much for us. But Chip Kelly...Georgia or Lsu get him then I'm worried
