@mwnfootball: Since 2008 in the SEC, only Johnny Manziel-led offenses have averaged a higher YPG than MSU did in 2014 (513).

With that said we return the all SEC QB who generated a ton of that offense as well as 4 of his top 5 WRs return.

The Bulldogs offense will be strong again this fall.

The Bulldogs offense is flying under the radar, and that is something that truly astounds me. I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen a team led by the best quarterback and one of the best offenses in the SEC, be picked to finish in the lower portion of the league by most of the media, and even dead-last by a few.

I just can’t figure out what I’m missing. Sure, three starters on the offensive line have moved on, but the well is far from dry.

The SEC figured Dak out. He won't last for a full season.

Wow it feels good to actually say that and not just read it every year.

Won't matter if the other team scores more than we do

Please share. Dak lost at Bama and at Ole Miss. Put up good numbers vs both. Lsu and A&M sure as hell didn't figure him out last year.

Who did exactly? He had 350 yards of offense against OM and 400 against Alabama and Arkansas who were all on the backend of our schedule. Not to mention the 600 yards of offense in the Orange Bowl.

its not our offense I am worried about our system puts up yards and points. its being able to stop teams on D that will make or break the season

I think there was some drop off in his play at the end of the year, and I also think he was probably a little banged up which may have caused it. I hope he plays this season as aggressively as he started last season, but knowing he doesn't have to and shouldn't take hits when it isn't necessary. Maybe Mullen can get a platoon system going with a short yardage qb to come in and be the hammer and take some of the beating. Dak's passing game has improved. With his running ability and the receivers we have, it definitely has the potential to be as special year offensively for MSU.

Whether or not Diaz's defense can hang in there well enough to allow Mullen to turn the offense loose will be the key in my opinion.

Dak had 41 total touchdowns in 2014. There are only a handful of players in SEC history to have more in a single season, and all three of them won the Heisman.

Mississippi State is gonna air it out this fall. Dak threw for 3449 yards last season and, with the above average corps of receivers y'all have coming back, I expect at least 3800 yards on 2015, maybe even 4000.

There is a point at which one is beginning to try too hard at relevancy. That point is now for you.

That's an interesting stat. I don't think many people outside of MSU fans realized that our offense was that good last year.

Y'all averaged 36.9 points per game last season. Before Aggie and Mizzou came to the conference with that light in the loafers football they love so much, that would have been a very impressive figure.

That's a three for one. Usually you have to pay triple for that kind of action.

, the person in the press box doesn't play defense. It's sad to say, but Chavis and his defense at LSU, which is better than a&m, couldn't stop Dak last season. Y'all probably should for forfeit the game.
