Lmao.

I'm not too worried about it at this point -- it's not easy by any stretch but so far it's been a good ride. It'll be a continuing theme on the OT I'm sure.

After a loss to Bama? Not hardly...at the very least your delusional fan base will be put out of its mercy Saturday night.

I think you'll be in better state of mind.

Look at the bright side. You can always root for Todd Gurley and the Rams the rest of the season.

I've got to ask...is this not similar to the Ole Miss/Florida narrative of last week.

Florida had not been impressive up to the point. OM was coming off a big win. They were going to destroy you right? Surely that was tRant narrative. Sound familiar?

Congrats on the 19 year old Latin poin btw. No shame in the game. If I get divorced before I turn into a disgusting old man I'm going 25 and younger only.

Most of my complaint is: I gave reasons (I predicted a Florida win on our board way before the game) as to why we win. Ole Miss can't defend the tight end, Ole Miss doesn't have a power running game (our weakness) or a mobile quarterback (our biggest weakness). If we don't turn it over, if we protect the ball, we'll win. Our secondary is legit, our dline horrifying and all we need to do is get some points.

I never said: We could win because we can. ^_^ I've never seen a reason why Missouri thinks it can win other than "God works in mysterious ways". Do you have a better receiving corps than Ole Miss? A better quarterback? Running back? Tight End? A better offensive coordinator? Better numbers? Better athletes? Why do you think you'll move it more?

Why do you think your defense will stop us? Because our quarterback is unproven? (Ole Miss is a good team.) Because we have a weakness that I've overlooked? Our Oline is bad, but Ole Miss has a fantastic dline and weh ad no problem blowing them out of the water. All I want are reasons as to why there's an upset.

Trust me man, I'm done dating women my own age. I went on a few dates with girls who were 25 - and even one who was 38 (She solid, I got pictures). They're just a little dead on the inside and more utilitarian than I like. I'm 28, and I like to have fun, joke around and have a good time. My work allows me to have a lot of time off and I'd rather spend it with someone who's exciting than someone who is, for a lack of a better explanation, tired of life.

Listen man, there is nothing wrong with an older woman at all. In fact, they have better sex in my experience but if I got divorced I would be looking for nothing but sex and young women are mostly stupid and pretty carefree in terms of commitment. So there's that, but yeah keep doing you.

As for why I think we can win (disclosure I already picked UF to win)....

Our defense is very good. All 3 levels. DBs cover pretty well and make plays on the ball when given the opportunity (aside from the TD we gifted SC) LBs are lead by probably the best backer in the conference, our other two starters are well above average. DLineZou gonna DLineZou. No idea why I was even a little concerned before the season. Florida has a young OL and QB. We can get some pressure from the front four and Odom designs some effective blitz packages as well. We could rattle the young guys and force some turnovers, especially on the road with a juiced up crowd. The only thing that has given us trouble on the ground this year is a running QB and that's not really Grier's game. We should stck up well there as well.

Offense we are getting healthier and improving. Boehm is probably finally at 100% and Hansbrough is getting close. Lock allows us to sustain drives and at the very least flip the field and eat some TOP. We are much more efficient with him "under center".

So those are some reasons we "can win" but as I said I'm picking UF by a TD. Probably a good reason the spread is 3.5 though.

I only brought up the week before the OM game because it's exactly the same thing this week only in the inverse.

I like how this thread turned into a dating thread.

I've gone to both extremes so far, and honestly I prefer them to be younger. If only sex? Sure, maybe I'd go with an older woman but I found out that you're just going to get hurt if you develop any feelings whatsoever (I didn't, but I figure eventually I will) so I just sorta let them go.

I'll definitely be keeping my 19 year old for a while, though. She's studying medicine and far and removed from being loose, has a ton in common with me and still hasn't been jaded by the poison of life.

Grier is actually extremely mobile and has led our team rushing at least once this year. If we need him to scramble and make plays, he most certainly will. Of course, Ole Miss also has an amazing Dline and we held them at bay, Grier never got shook (he was sacked twice early) and we effectively ran our gameplan against a team that had one of the better (if not the best) turnover averages in the country.

I have prefaced several times that: This is a very winnable game by Missouri, but it's going to take Florida beating themselves (a little) for it to happen. Being at home definitely makes the job easier, but if Florida retains their current success, it will be a long night for Missouri. Revenge also comes into play (although this is a metaphysical intangible). It's going to be a good game, and never did I say that it was impossible: Just that Missouri has had it pretty easy for the first five games of the season and that this will be, without a doubt, their real, first true test.

Ha, poisoned by life. Lol, it's not THAT bad. Well, I guess it is for some but if you stay pretty laid back and don't take everything so seriously it's all pretty enjoyable.

I'll end by saying this. Our DL is better than Ole Miss. It will be the best test for your young OL and Grier that you've played. And again, as always it will really come down to which team plays their best game. If you listened to Pinkel he constantly preaches this. It doesn't matter who we play, it's how we play. That's not disrespecting your opponent it's just a way of saying you have to play your best (or close to it) to win. Which team will do that? We shall see. I think you guys are a bit overconfident and you aren't respecting us (that's nothing new of course). Hell, who knows. I could easily end up being way wrong and Yall cream us and go onto to win the SEC. That's what make this fun.

You're gonna make me take back all the things I said before. In actuality, I don't know that we disagree on many things. If UF comes out and plays like they did against OM they probably win. Is it MU's toughest opponent to date? Of course but that's how we line our schedule every year. Just too many uncertainties on both sides for me to even pick this game.

Before the QB change I predicted we wouldn't win another game. Now I think we have chances in most. Chances, not will win or even should win.

Maybe I have a knack for attracting those type of women, but you would be shocked by how many I get saying: "Oh, this guy was horrible to me so I won't ever trust another man" -- blase blase blase.

Think it may be a Mexican chick thing, though. There are no men in Mexico City.

The fans, sure, but the players are completely ready. Mac has a different atmosphere, and already he's making it clear not to let it go to our head.

"Do you think the Gators are back?"

"I won't say we're back, but we'll show up."

And I guarantee you the score from last year will be all over the place. The Gators will not be overlooking Mizzou, the team at least, the fans? Well, we're stupid.

As for Reedus: Yeah, most of the time we have a lot of the same going on, but a lot of chest puffing and squawking goes on.
