After their last cupcake opponent this weekend, the Gators play four straight quality teams that are currently ranked in the top 25.

I think Ole Miss at home is a loss, Missouri on the road is a win, @ LSU is a loss, and vs. UGA is a loss.

That will put Florida at 5-3 on the year with the tough part of their schedule behind them and nothing but cupcakes until FSU. Do you think 3 conference losses is good enough to win the East this year? Will the UF-UGA game be essentially a play in game for the East? The Gators are set up to finish this season 9-3 or 8-4 if they take care of their business against the cupcakes on their schedule, and beat Missouri on the road. But will that be enough to win the East?

Georgia is NOT losing 3 games.

UF has a SMALL chance if they win ALL of their SEC east games, which means upsetting Missouri and Georgia - a tall task for this offense.

They would then have to pray that everyone else in the east, including Georgia, lost 2 games.

Not likely, IMO.

You won't win the division with 3 losses.

Sorry, I'm just not scared of a team that barely beat UCONN 9-6

You chumps scored 14 points on your last cupcake and struggled with the one before that.

You are a cupcake that has been playing other cupcakes.

This game has that 3-2, 6-3, 10-9 type score feel to it. That said It'll prolly be 38-35...

Florida might not even score 6 on Missouri right now. The offensive line is a mess. Grier may not survive to actually play Missouri, by then he might be in the hospital and Harris may be starting.

I wouldn't count you guys out. Your defense is freaking stout. Special teams could be the difference in that game.

Probably need to be at least 6-2

IF UGA loses to Bama then the UF-UGA game pretty much would be a play-in right?

Given UF's only other conference losses are to LSU and Ole Miss? and if UGA only wins out in the rest of conference play

That's still alot of "ifs" though. Tenn and Mizzou will have something to say about it

Not high but probably 3rd highest in the East.

UGA 65%
UT 20%
UF 10%
Mizzou/UK 2.5% each

I don't think we are very scared of a team that put up 14 on Kentucky either.

There is no way you can mark our game as a win. It will be ultra low scoring and those type of games are coin flips at best.

I actually think Florida and Mizzou are two teams that have a chance to be MUCH better as the season goes on.

I agree. The UF/Mizzou game is going to be a huge defensive battle.

Special teams and whoever can rush for over 100 yards will be the difference.

We really need the OL to improve as the season progresses. They have played well at times, and when they do we see how effective this offense can be. Like most thought to start the year, how good UF can be depends mostly on the growth of the OL.

Florida is going to destroy everyone in the East this year. LSU and Ole Miss are likely wins, but I need to see a little more before I'm ready to call those for sure wins.

Going to be tough. Ole Miss and LSU are most likely losses. That's a 2 game hole, which means we pretty much have to beat everyone in the East to have a shot. I can't see us going 3-0 against UT, Mizzou, and UGA.

We never really catch a break schedule-wise. What a year to play Ole Miss instead of like Auburn or something.

At this point in the season, Georgia is the heavy favorite to win the East, and I don't see that changing.
