Still wonder if the whole team was hung over that game. That was the game thet kicked off both halves too. It was a comedy act that was for sure.

Florida has some trouble with the Mississippi schools.

Since 2000, Florida has a .500 record against both Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

They should have gone for it. Stranger things have happened. Could you imagine Jackie Sherrill's reaction if Florida were to convert a 3rd and 57?

Yeah that made no sense. It classic Spurrier, though. He loved to go into "frick it" mode. frick it give them 2 points we're good enough to go down 10 and come back. (They didn't, though)

I remember those days when they showed Spurrier after just about every play. That was the beginning of coach cam. They wanted to show visor throwing so much, it became a sport of its own.
