Florida is getting great production because they have great coaching - not a stable of Blue Chip talent. McElwain and Nussmeier will outscheme most teams on both sides of the ball but Florida's defense will crap the bed several times this season. The Gator D doesn't have the playmakers or depth to get it done this year. With a couple of decent recruiting classes Florida will be back with a vengeance competing for National Championships.
McElwain & staff will squeeze every ounce of quality out of this Florida team but it won't be enough to avoid losing 2 of 3 against LSU, Georgia, and Florida State.

Bullard, Tabor, Wilson, Hargreaves, Neal, Morrsion, and Davis are all really, really solid players. I think you're just trying to troll here, but that defense has a ton of talent.

LSU doesn't have a passing game and Georgia has no QB. Both teams will need to run for well over 200 yards or they will lose.

People keep saying "they almost lost to ECU" and "they almost lost to Tennessee"
Well they fricking didn't.
They have a young team with a young quarterback. He's getting better and better. The staff is seeing what we do well and doing it more and more often.
Florida's talent + good offensive coaching + the best defense in the SEC means bad news for everyone else.
The near loss to ECU at the beginning of the year when Florida was still trying to find their identity under a brand new regime is a distant memory now. They just dominated the number 3 ranked team in the nation.

Not trolling. I think Florida is kicking arse and taking names but the D doesn't have enough depth to beat LSU, Georgia, and Florida State. Next year will be a different story.

If anything it's the opposite. The D is loaded with talent and playmakers but you could easily see Florida dropping a game because of it's young Oline or QB. Florida's ceiling is probably winning the East.

Um.... You might want to look at the rankings of both the defense and some of the starting skill position guys- Grier was #1 in his class at QB, Robinson and Taylor were both Top 5-10 guys at there positions, the starting tackle was the #2 overall player in America and the DE who stripped Kelly was #4, Bullard, Tabor and VH3 were all 5 stars.
Florida's problem is its shallow and had a ton of high recruits wasted by Muschamp-- on paper, just going by recruiting classes Florida had substantially more talented than Ole Miss.
