Florida is spanking Georgia right now; they are hot. This is one of those years when a hot team will make a run, or even win it. I don't think Florida is the best team in the nation, but they are better than everyone in the SEC. This could be a 2006 repeat. Aggie is gonna lose by 30+ down there.

That is one incredibly bold statement.

Um.... a bit worried this is more "the rest of the SEC sucks" than Florida is that good- it's a top 15 team no doubt maybe even fringe top 10 but I would hesitate to go farther than that.

Then again no one is all that great this year.

Being hot in February doesn't mean a final four run.

They are playing well though

Yeah maybe. We still have long spurts of offensive ineptness, but we are playing pretty good.

Nope, you're right SEC not good. Hell, LSU gave Kentucky a fight in Rupp.

Calm down. This is a good team, but there's times where we can't hit a bucket or have no inside game.

Florida might play like crap on offense at times, but at least they can play defense, and they play hard. In a loaded year like 2015, I wouldn't make this prediction, but this year is so wide open. I think this is another year that whoever gets hot will win. The first three wins in this streak were, meh. But I am impressed with the wins over KY and GA.

This is true. They will probably win the SEC and make a decent run in the NCAA tourney with that D. Oh, how I wish UK's youngsters would emulate that defense.

It's all about Hill and Chiozza. If they continue to play like they have recently, then, yeah, this team has Final Four potential. We've gotten such inconsistent PG play the past few years, so this recent stretch has been amazing.

I'd expect the OP to get jacked up about this. He IS an aggie. They want to crown the natty in September for football, why not early February for hoops?

Depends on the matchup obviously but this team has looked good for sure. That said I'd be happy with getting to the S16 this ywar

I was encouraged after the SEC/Big XII challenge. I don't think the league is that bad, I just think there are lots of NIT caliber teams which makes the league look bad overall. The Gators are the best of the lot this year.

That statement sounds just like SC. See last night for example.

Falling behind by 20 in the first five minutes, staying in the 15-25 point range the whole game until a mop-up time mini-run to make the score look respectable is not giving someone "a fight".

2006? This Florida team doesn't have 4 NBA lottery picks like that one. Not even close.
