Beating Kentucky by 5, Tennessee by 1, and Eastern Carolina by 7 = best resume? Okay. Their win against Ole Miss must have swayed that big time.

That's so fricking stupid. "Best Resume," in my opinion, means who is the best looking team so they should be the same fricking thing. frick preseason polls. Ohio state does not belong there with almost two loses against Northern Illinois and Indiana.

No, best resume is if you just look at paper and determine the best team. Best looking team is if you watch the guys on the field. Bama = bad resume but they look really fricking good.

Yeah. The problem with the polls is that they are inconsistent with their criteria and favor certain programs. If Bama, ND, or SoCal were undefeated, they would be ranked 1,2,3 regardless of the their resumes. With a loss, those teams are still ranked about several undefeated teams with comparable resumes. It's just dumb.
