Tennessee

Violations: Assistant coach allegedly arranged for an airline ticket on credit for a prospect to attend a special camp. Other accusations included improper off-campus contacts, impermissible transportation and recruitment of prospects before completion of junior year. Assistant coach also cited for allegedly encouraging witness to lie.
Major penalties: Reduction in total number of scholarships for two years to 85 (from then-maximum of 92 in '92 and 88 in '93).
Severity of sanctions: 1
Notable: Vols, ranked No. 6 in coaches' poll on day sanctions announced, were relieved that they received no serious penalties. "We have a good future," coach Johnny Majors said at the time.

Mercifully, that was the beginning of the end of the Johnny Majors era at UT.

And probably, most of the Gator fans here recently heard a lot of stuff they never heard before.

UT beat UF 10 times in a row.

UT was the 7th program to win 700 games. Wins now at 820.

UF has STILL NOT won 700 games.

It took UF 53 years to win a conference crown, and it was vacated for cheating.

"UNDEFEATED NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!" -- Said no Gator fan ever.

UF has NEVER had an undefeated season.

[probably my favorite]

But UF has had a season as recently as 1979 where it won no games at all.

UT has not failed to win at least 4 games a season since 1924, while programs like UF, UA and AU all had seasons with no wins at all.

Which explains why you ended up with Percy Harvin and Hernandez.....doing what you want.

Yeah you're just a moron.

Tieing what shitty acts Hernandez did years after he graduated back to UF is just dumb.

Of course your the same guy who tried and tried to keep the Callaway thread going, so I'm not surprised.

There was a user, USMCgators, that used to post here and got banned for similar remarks. Just trying to help you out, I am sure you aren't an alter of USMCgators or anything.

Walt(UT'81) is truly a historian so he should be able to explan, with all of the greatness that is UT football, how is it that Florida has the series lead over the historical V012s program 26-19 and has won 23 of the last 30 games? UT won the first 11 and since has lost 26 of 34 games. History will remember this as UF owning the boys from east Tennessee for a decade and a century.

We didn't even go to Atlanta in 2012. This is for programs that don't have championships.

Participation trophies seem to be a big deal now with the kids these days, are you all not counting that? I can agree with you, I don't see the point in talking about a virtual tie where you didn't win in the tie breaker.

I don't mind celebrating east division championships if you are the clear winner and go to Atlanta.

2003 and 2012 UF didn't win shite though and those shouldn't be up there.
