Florida fans and Big 12 expansion...

How would you feel if the Big 12 took both UCF and USF? Their TV contract is not based on the number of subscribers, so this is a possible scenario.

USF is legit. Would be one of the largest schools in the league.

Would be fine with it. The state of FL is plucked nationally in recruiting so it wouldn't matter.

I think it would be bad for the all of the 3 in Florida . The big 12 would be watering down Florida and Texas football.

Same with UCF. They have a NICE campus.

I don't know how big USF is but UCF has the largest student enrollment in the nation. It's 60,000+.

Proximity matters a lot. You may get a few Florida kids with connections to other programs or the rare guy who doesn't like any of the in state schools, but that will always be a minority of the players so long as a comparable in-state option is around.
