Florida are you surprised about having the 12th ranked recruiting class?

Seems pretty low for a team that did as well as you did and that fact that you are Florida. Are you worried about mcelwain and if he can't recruit well?

We had some misses but did address some needs such as QB,WR and RB. Got some oline depth

Missed on some dbs and dts, that will hurt

If you can coach up Putu, I think he is going to be great. Raw but has the tools. Really would of loved to see him at Arkansas.

I think Foley should start a rumor that he intends to fire McElwain next December. And then 3 or 4 days later tell every one how much he loves McElwain and keep him on as UF's coach.

You can laugh if you want, it worked for LSU this season, didn't it?

Act like they didn't recruit at 12th place after a barely finishing ranked 25th this season.

We did quite well on the offensive side of the ball....but defensively we missed on some guys. 2017 will tell us what we need to know cause he should have deeper roots in Florida high schools and bordering states.

To me...we need to do well on the field and then we will see what happens. We played a lot of youth and recruits look at depth charts....but there is no way we shouldnt have done better at LB...I expect us to look at JUCO ranks next year for LBs who are already shaving every day.

With a second Yr coach, changes in personnel late into the recruiting season and with FSU being a premier program right now I think Florida came out pretty damn good

the problem is that isn't a "formula" thing. LSU pulled it off but LSU is "special".

Terrible on the defensive side except for moon, Gardner, clayton, and Reese. OL recruiting was meh. We need recruiters bad. How the frick you do so bad at DT and CB(frick you Kirk) is baffling to me.

The Gators got to the SEC East which was the weakest division in modern history of the SEC. The last three arse whippings to FSU, BAMA, and UM made recruit realize that the 2015 Gator success was a mirage.

The defensive recruiting to close things out was fricking horrendous.

UF has only recruited 5 4 star or higher players on defense the last two years.

They need to do better on that side of the ball.

That being said UF just brought in a top flight QB, a bunch of new QB blood in general, and the best WR class in the whole country, along with some good RBs.

The offense seems to be moving back in the right direction. That makes me happy.

I mean, wasn't the offensive side of the ball the biggest need?

Fsu and Clemson take what they want in the state of Florida right now. Florida just picks up the scraps

12th is damn good. They need offense period. Losing some defensive players aren't nearly as huge as picking up playmakers on offense.

I hope you aren't referencing Felipe Franks. He is raw, overrated, and immature
