The Tide showed the world who the best team truly was on 1/9.

No they showed what a team can do if they are given another chance. Lets not act like the game on 11/5 wasnt billed as the winner takes all game of the century with the sec west on the line. Whether you like it or not, LSU was the best team in the sec in 2011.

Congrats on being VOTED into the game because Bama surely didnt deserve to be there.

I always laugh when Bama fans say they only lost because their kicker missed. 3 of their missed fgs wouldve been career longs for their kicker. I guess every team should just line up for long arse kicks and then act like they are automatic.

A potential national champion doesn't lose to an unranked team that finished its season with a losing record.

Never in the history of cfb has who you lost too meant more than a huge disparity between who you beat. Not once. Bama beat 2 ranked teams the entire season. Oklahoma State beat 5 ranked teams. Come on.
If it had been Oklahoma or Texas instead of Okl St they dont get left out.

ETA: Call me crazy but a potential national champion should at least be the best team in its own division, let alone conf.

Jesus. That includes our two worst seasons in school history and Tennessee still has less wins than us.

Yes, and it includes our worst stretch in School history and we haven't dipped below a 5 win season. I mean, how do you even have a 2 win season.

While the 2-10 season of 2011 was the worst in Ole Miss history, the 4-8 season of 2010 was not the second worse. Going back to 1970, Ole Miss has finished 3-9 once(2007), 3-8 four times(1974,1980,1987,2005), and 4-8 one other time in 2006. So, it wasn't the worst two seasons in school history.
