Jesus. That includes our two worst seasons in school history and Tennessee still has less wins than us.

Glad we got that out of the way from the get-go. So we were beat in our backyard by by our biggest "rival", who happens to lead the best conference for the last five years, on the biggest stage.
shite happens.

Damn, Auburn has 45 wins, and that includes a year going winless in SEC.

Historically the SEC West schools stack up almost the same. Probably swap OM and MSU

The SEC East on the other hand... What a down time for that division

National Championship =/= League Championship. Alabama will go down as the only team in history to be simultaneously the best team in the country and second-best team in their division.

Kind of hard to believe that Vandy has a better record than Tennessee in the last five years.

Dang.

Yeah. No. That's not how it works. Winning any championship doesn't make you the "best team." It makes you the team that won the championship.

And also, no. Alabama is far from the only team in history to be champions without winning their divisions. See: the NBA, the NFL, college basketball, other divisions of college football, tennis, golf, gymnastics, the NHL, the MLS, the WNBA, lacrosse, quidditch, field hockey, or just about any sport that's not D-I college football or European soccer.

That's exactly how I'd rank the coaches of the top 5 programs.
