While I don't doubt that basketball thing happened, I think the poster was talking about AU's softball fiasco. Girl softball players banging an assistant (male) softball coach and then the softball staff threatening other players not to go public with the story (which is prolly the bigger scandal -- it's always the cover-up).

Alabama is an at-will employment state, so I think they're good here with firing whomever they want.

Agreed.. But a lot of these jobs do have at fault contracts, dunno about Jacobs, but I'd assume he has one. A settlement would most likely be required sans investigation completion.

Why do you think he was shut down but the Creek Indians got to keep on building?!? Not ONLY did they shut him down but they waited until he spent 100M of his own cash out of pocket upgrading Victoryland and having the Oasis hotel built. The Bama Boys had the last laugh after they saw how good Cam was. All the powerful politicians, judges etc. in AL went to UAT. They were NOT going to let AU pass them by using untraceable cash.
I just never understood why McGregor was an Auburn booster (he's a Troy grad). He's always been tight with Lowder, Rane and Pat Dye and was a HUGE shareholder in Colonial Bank. It's always been this crew plus Jere Beasley vs. the Bama Top Brass.
