In the following prose, Henry Miller is lashing out against the dangers of bagmen...
In the following prose, Henry Miller laments over how helpless Ole Miss is to the charms (and dangers) of a sketchy football coach...
In the following prose, Henry Miller imagines a time when hardship falls upon Ole Miss and as a hardcore fan he's terrified by his vision...
quote:
“When I realize that she (Ole Miss) is gone, perhaps gone forever, a great void opens up and I feel that I am falling, falling, falling into deep, black space. And this is worse than tears, deeper than regret or pain or sorrow, it is the abyss into which Satan was plunged. There is no climbing back, no ray of light, no sound of human voice or human touch of hand.”
Henry Miller, Tropic of Cancer
In the following prose, Henry Miller is lashing out against the dangers of bagmen...
quote:
“You can forgive a young cuunt (young recruit) anything. A young cuunt doesn't have to have brains. They're better without brains. But an old cuunt (donor), even if she's brilliant, even if she's the most charming woman in the world, nothing makes any difference. A young cuunt is an investment; an old cuunt is a dead loss. All they can do for you is buy you things. But that doesn't put meat on their arms or juice between their legs.”
Henry Miller, Tropic of Cancer
In the following prose, Henry Miller laments over how helpless Ole Miss is to the charms (and dangers) of a sketchy football coach...
quote:
“Paris (football coach) is like a whore. From a distance she seems ravishing, you can't wait until you have her in your arms. And five minutes later you feel empty, disgusted with yourself. You feel tricked.”
Henry Miller, Tropic of Cancer

Henry Miller writing about his unhealthy obsession with college football, specifically Ole Miss, which he likens to a whore...
quote:
“As she stood up to dry herself, still talking to me pleasantly, suddenly she dropped the towel and, advancing toward me leisurely, she commenced rubbing her pussy affectionately, stroking it with her two hands, caressing it, patting it, patting it. There was something about her eloquence at that moment and the way she thrust that rosebush under my nose which remains unforgettable; she spoke of it as if it were some extraneous object which she had acquired at great cost, an object whose value had increased with time and which now she prized above everything in the world. Her words imbued it with a peculiar fragrance; it was no longer just her private organ, but a treasure, a magic, potent treasure, a God-given thing – and none the less so because she traded it day in and day out for a few pieces of silver. As she flung herself on the bed, with legs spread wide apart, she cupped it with her hands and stroked it some more, murmuring all the while in that hoarse, cracked voice of hers that it was good, beautiful, a treasure, a little treasure. And it was good, that little pussy of hers! That Sunday afternoon, with its poisonous breath of spring in the air, everything clicked again. As we stepped out of the hotel I looked her over again in the harsh light of day and I saw clearly what a whore she was – the gold teeth, the geranium in her hat, the rundown heels, etc., etc. Even the fact that she had wormed a dinner out of me and cigarettes and taxi hadn’t the least disturbing effect upon me. I encouraged it, in fact. I liked her so well that after dinner we went back to the hotel again and took another shot at it. ‘For love,’ this time. And again that big, bushy thing of hers worked its bloom and magic. It began to have an independent existence – for me too. There was Germaine and there was that rosebush of hers. I liked them separately and I liked them together.”

in the following passage, Miller remembers a vision in which he witnesses Nick Saban inappropriately courting the NCAA...
quote:
“What I’m getting at is that moment when, he says, he got down on his knees and with those two skinny fingers of his he spread her cuunt open. You remember that? He says she was sitting there with her legs dangling over the arms of the chair and suddenly, he says, he got an inspiration. This was after he had given her a couple of lays already… after he had made that little spiel about Matisse. He gets down on his knees – get this! – and with his two fingers… just the tips of them, mind you… he opens the little petals… squish-squish… just like that. A sticky little sound… almost inaudible. Squish-squish! Jesus, I’ve been hearing it all night long!”

There is a reason Jerry took it out in 1971 and never returned it.

Miller and Nin would invite Faulkner over for a threesome and then write a book titled "Full Moon over Yoknapatawpha"...

One thing you can appreciate about Yankees is our love for literature, higher education, and narcissism
