Landmass (an extremely rustled Ole Miss fan) recently posted the following thread:

quote:

Ole Miss - A lot of people are talking about Ole Miss these days.

He implies that any publicity is good publicity. Landmass is dead wrong.

Mizzou's CS1950 student terrorists situation proves false the claim that any publicity is good publicity.

Once upon a time not long ago a LOT of people were talking about Mizzou and the negative publicity surrounding racial student protests. As a result, Mizzou's enrollment and donations have dramatically declined and honest careers have been destroyed all because of a lie.

Fair warning, Ole Miss fans...bad publicity can actually result in significant harm to the university. You may want to check yourself before you wreck yourself, heauxmeauxs.

Thanks for the heads-up, but as Ole Miss students and alumni, we've been dealing with negative publicity for over half a century.

Nothing new under the sun.

i find it funny how the o piss fans are so quick to defend their righteous ways at the LandMass U. Everyone in the national media that I have heard is saying this is not going away. OM is a laughing stock as it relates to NCAA sports

Thank you for reminding us that George "Segregation Forever" Wallace was governor of Mississippi.

Your state killed 4 black children. Are you still proud of that?
