All of you expansion folks need to go to your teams Conf Champ game, then both of the PO games, and then come back here and tell us if you think we need more games. I went to the IB and all postseason games last year. I was absolutely exhausted. We dont need anymore games.

And the first PO game should be at the home of the highest ranked team. My evidence is tbe ticket price of the Championship game which sold at or below face value on stubhub. All us fans were flat out exhausted and broke. No more games. I can only imagine how the players felt. Of course it wasn't their money but they are in school.

You say this until your beloved Tide gets pushed out the playoff system by being ranked 5. Then your squirrelly arse would beg for more games. Lol

That's a shitty argument because the last team out will always be pissed, i.e. if we go to 8 then #9 will be pissed. Imo, the #5 team had a chance to be in by winning some game they lost so too fricking bad.

Watch at home you ungrateful frick. Daddy Saban has worked tirelessly even selling his own soul to the devil so you fans can feel good about yourselves and you're tired.

The point is about the players. They are students you know. Not to mention the potential for injury that can change how competitive a team is. 15 is enough.

Simple solution:

Don't go and you won't be tired.

Why should we miss out on the joy of an eight team playoff because your arse is tired?

Just cheapens the regular season. Ruins all that is good about college football. How big a deal would the kick six have been if the teams simply played again the next weekend?

This. Feeling good and tired isn't so bad.

Make no mistake they're athletes who have a dream of becoming professional athletes. They should take their educational opportunity serious but how many would be at the university without the sport. The student athlete who achieves highly in athletics and academics should be held to a higher regard. Sadly, most people have no idea how hard it is to achieve greatness at both. Coaches including Bamas's coach don't care about these guys futures.

Agreed, with an NCAA fund or deal to broker with travel agencies to reduce cost of travel for opposing team fans.

I guess we could just watch teams go through a walk through, study recruiting rankings, and then just simulate the games to avoid any injuries.

Under my plan, every power 5 team would play each other home and home and at a neutral site. I would also add a single game against all group of 5 teams.

This should give us enough data to award Bama a NC with the same meaning as the great 1941 team.

IMO, the best solution, even if a solution is really needed, is to go to 6 teams. Would add but two games and I would certainly hope they would play those games, as you suggest, at the home field of #s 3 and 4. Giving, of course, byes to #s 1 and 2.

The minute we go to 8, there will be assholes screaming for 16.

The system will always be flawed but at least now we preserve the regular season....which is the best regular season in sports. We also have a playoff that gives us an undisputed national champion....which is the goal.

Your main argument for no expansion is because you get tired of going to all the games?

I disagree. There's an outside chance that a 1 vs. 16 regular season matchup on the west coast might still get scheduled for a late kickoff, but no way would a 1 vs. 8...that'd be the Game Of The Week for any weekend. As long as there are more major conferences than playoff spots, 4 doesn't cut it IMO. 8 works, and it wouldn't dilute anything. Again, a 1 vs. 8 would be a big deal in the regular season, so why wouldn't it be in a playoff?
