I have put the players who I believe have been successful in bold. The others either have not lived up to expectations or the jury is still out on.

LSU: 6/12

1 6 Barkevious Mingo Defensive End Cleveland Browns
1 18 Eric Reid Safety San Francisco 49ers

1 6 Morris Claiborne Cornerback Dallas Cowboys
1 14 Michael Brockers DT St. Louis Rams

1 5 Patrick Peterson Cornerback Arizona Cardinals

1 3 Tyson Jackson Defensive End Kansas City Chiefs

1 5 Glenn Dorsey DT Kansas City Chiefs

1 1 JaMarcus Russell Quarterback Oakland Raiders
1 6 LaRon Landry Free Safety Washington Redskins
1 23 Dwayne Bowe Wide Receiver Kansas City Chiefs

1 30 Craig Davis Wide Receiver San Diego Chargers

1 30 Joseph Addai Running Back Indianapolis Colts

Alabama: 7/14

1 9 Dee Milliner Cornerback New York Jets
1 10 Chance Warmack Guard Tennessee Titans
1 11 D. J. Fluker Offensive tackle San Diego Chargers

1 3 Trent Richardson Running back Cleveland Browns
1 7 Mark Barron Safety Tampa Bay Buccaneers
1 17 Dre Kirkpatrick Cornerback Cincinnati Bengals
1 25 Dont'a Hightower Linebacker New England Patriots

1 3 Marcell Dareus Defensive tackle Buffalo Bills
1 6 Julio Jones Wide receiver Atlanta Falcons

1 25 James Carpenter Offensive tackle Seattle Seahawks
1 28 Mark Ingram Running back New Orleans Saints

1 8 Rolando McClain Linebacker Oakland Raiders
1 20 Kareem Jackson Cornerback Houston Texans

1 6 Andre Smith Offensive tackle Cincinnati Bengals

How have they not been successful? Claiborne is a man to man corner playing cover 2. other than that these guys have down well

True that. Left him out. Fixed.

ETA: Was thinking of Sam Montgomery for some reason.

I thought he played well for his role.

he's in a bad system. Like I said earlier, playing cover 2 corner when he is man to man.

And half of bama's bold players are Offensive Lineman. Kind of hard to judge how good an offensive lineman is just by looking at numbers.

No he hasn't, but it isn't really his fault. He's a bad fit for the scheme and on top of that CB is the hardest position to transition to from college to NFL. He's gonna turn it around.

ESPN put Barron on their ALL NFC-South team. I'll trust them over you.

+1. He's like Milliner. He's got the talent, just hasn't put it together yet and CB is tough transition, especially with the rules favoring the offense.

Yep. And while he was below average in coverage his rookie year, he became decent this past year. He's always been one of the best Safeties against the run. If he continues to improve in coverage, he's gonna start making Pro Bowls. Reid played better as a rookie (in coverage) though than Barron has his entire career.

Well based on that logic, Dorsey was in a bad system back in KC. He was in a 3-4 defense when he spent his collegiate career in a 4-3.
