We should change the name of the conference.
It's turning into a league that consists of the Harlem Globetrotters and the Washington Generals.

From that pic, it appears Bama was moved to the east and the SEC is now

Scoop, you bastard how did u get a hold of that? Should have know.
Ok let me explain, the players are placed in Pods 1-7, which are basically tables where they sit in a big u each with its own line. It depends on how many players but usually Big 10, Pac 10, Big 10, with smaller conferences etc. The SEC is spilt in SEC West, Sec East and Alabama always has its own pod by itself no matter how many players, (although this year it was combined with FCS. )
This is just because always tons of bama fans, (Usually close to half or more), this year was most all Bama, Mississippi State, and a lot of Ohio State. So that is solely an internal note on how to set up tables at the meet the players event, and not really suggesting that Bama is its own conference.

Of course, the Auburn pod (SEC West or Pod 7) is always on the opposite side of the room to avoid blood shed.

Why are Ragland and Reed playing the Senior Bowl anyway? Neither of them can get much of a bump above their already-high projection.

Saban makes them go. (LOL) Actually Les Miles and lor of SEC schools really encourage the players to come.

I guess it could be good publicity for a school, though given the current climate, kids could just as easily look at these guys and think, "It took them four years to be able to make the jump to the NFL? I can't imagine waiting that long for my inevitable millions of dollars." The early entries are getting a disproportionate amount of attention -- I can barely recall which senior players are leaving SEC programs because most of the articles are about the players with remaining eligibility.
