2001 signing class - won 2003 BCS NC at LSU

2003 signing class - won 2007 and 2003 BCS NC at LSU
2004 signing class - won 2007 BCS NC at LSU
2005 - NFL
2006 - NFL
2007 signing class - won 2011 and 2009 BCS NC at BAMA
2008 signing class - won 2012, 2011, and 2009 BCS NC at BAMA
2009 signing class - won 2012, 2011, and 2009 BCS NC at BAMA

Uh, yes it does.
Redshirt year + 4 years to play = 5.
For example, Josh Chapman signed in 2007 with Bama. He started for the 2011 BCS NC team. That's 5 years at Bama right there.
