Was not voted a Mackey Award finalist. It was a joke that anybody voted for him over Hunter Henry as the Preseason All-SEC TE.

Austin Hooper of Stanford, Jordan Leggett of Clemson and Hunter Henry of Arkansas are the finalists. Henry should win it running away.

150 more receiving yards last year than Henry... Yeah Engram definitely did not deserve any pre-season hype...

So instead of posting about your tight end being a finalist you post about engram....?

We spread the ball around a lot. And give treadwell 30% of the passing offense, which has helped his draft stock.

Henry and Arkansas TEs had a much better year, and were far more involved in the passing game compared to the rebels this year

Engram won't leave early now, so thats a positive at least.

Congrats to Henry and Arkansas they utilized and got far more production out of the tight ends. And hope he wins the award.

be thankful for your great player,

Don't give out hate for another

don't be dumb and you lose by making this about Engram and not Henry's accomplishment.

Ole Miss has a lot more targets than Arkansas and Engram is clutch. I like Henry a lot as well, but if Engram was in a similar situation he would have the numbers Henry does.

Henry will go higher in the draft because of his NFL prototype frame.

Hunter will be a Greg Olsen type.

Engram will be more like a Vernon Davis type

Both very good, but different offenses

Engram has handled his "down season" with style as well. Going into the season he was the better choice over Henry as pre-season All-SEC. Indeed it probably means he'll be back next season. I hope it does for his sake.

According to the grapevine, Henry won't leave early, either.

Henry wasn't our leading receiver either.

Pre-Season... you know, where people take what athletes did last year and apply it towards the upcoming season in a prediction of who will be good.

Engram isn't a TE, he's a WR.

Henry is a true TE, he actually blocks when not running routes.

"It was a joke" when not referring to an actual joke makes you a douche, automatically.

But yeah, Henry has played much better than Engram all year.

This. I don't think any rebel has issues admitting this either.

Also yes pre season awards. You know the same kinda things that had Auburn being a top dog in the West. These things are wrong all the time. Just be happy your player was on the better side of it and go with it.
