Kickoff Returns, Season Average
1. Paul Allen, BYU - 1961: 40.08 yards per return
2. Tremain Mack, Miami (FL) - 1996: 39.54
3. Leeland McElroy, Texas A&M - 1993: 39.33
4. Doak Walker, SMU - 1947: 38.70
5. JJ Nelson, UAB - 2014: 38.32

Berry's currently averaging 42.56 yards per return, over 8 yards more than the No. 2 guy.

With 4 games left it'll be hard to keep that up though. He's riding high off the 3 TD (which is damn impressive btw) but just a few average 20 yard returns could bring that average down big time

I honestly don't think teams are going to kick to him anymore. Kentucky tried to avoid kicking it to him all night, finally got one 5 yards deep and he housed it.


We should let North Texas score once or twice to give him a shot at the record.
